Biography
Eva was born in 1894.[1] She was the daughter of Benjamin C Teske and Helena Schmidt. She passed away in 1979.[2][3]

Note: After four days in Minden, NE with 60 to 70 of Schmidt relatives, Ogen and Pauline (Schmidt) Harms and Annie (Schmidt) Davis hosted an overnight stay and breakfast for the brother Emil and his family as they made their way back home to Sweeney, TX. Pauline said it was wall to wall sleeping bags at her house with the kitchen, utility and front rooms lined.

Note: The A. E. Schmidt family gets together every 5 years and the number of family members keeps increasing.
Note: Seven of the nine brothers and sisters were at the reunion this year in Minden, NE. Only Andy and his wife Pearl of Montana were missing. Sister Clara is deceased, however her husband Orville Schmidt of Idaho was at the reunion.
Note: The nine children include: Pete of Corn, Pauline and husband Ogen Harms of Corn, brother in law Orville of Idaho, Andy and wife Pearl of Montana, George and wife Gladys of Illinois, Paul and wife Elife of California, Carolyn and husband Ralph Fauth of Montana, Emil and wife Evelyn of Texas and Annie Davis of Corn.
Note: The group picked Minden, NE as their reunion site because it was kind of in a center point. Pauline said the town of 2000 caters to family reunions and is the largest tourist attraction in Nebraska with a 30 building museum, swimming facilities and ball park.
Note: Pete Schmidt was the oldest of the 5 generations at the reunion and the youngest was Jordan Schultz, Ogen and Pauline's 3 year old great granddaughter. There were five generations represented with four of the E. A. Schmidt's great great grandchildren present.
Note: Brother Emil and his family drove the furthest, coming from Sweeney, TX.
Note: Traveling to Nebraska from Corn were Pete Schmidt, Sherry & Eugene Pauls with Ron and Kenny, Dennis and Lawanna Schmidt with Michelle, Ryan and Jennifer, Tim and Jane Schmidt with Kyle, Amy and Dean, Sylvia Gibson with Mark and Emily, Annie Davis, Ogen and Pauline Harms.
