Biography
Gersham was born in 1773, the fifth child of Gersham and Susannah (Hazelton) Thayer.
In 1794, he married Sarah Arnold. They had nine children:[1]

- Nelson (b-1801)
- Eliza (b-1803)
- Gersham (b-1805)
- Seth (b-1807)
- Anna (b-1809)
- Giles (b-1816)
Gersham died in 1824.
