Biography
Guy de Thiern succeeded his maternal uncle as Comte de Chalon about 1078. [1]
Gui, lord of Thiers and count of Chalon, was married by 1093, but his wife's name is unknown. [2]
He died in 1113 while on a Crusade to the Holy Land, in the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem. [3]
