Biography
Birth & Early Life
Ludovicus Thijs was born in November 1840 in Herenthout, Antwerpen, België.[1] He was the son of Carolus Thijs and Joanna Clara Veroft. The registration of his birth was done by his father.
Marriage & Family
He married Elisabeth Van Donick in January 1870 in Herentals, Antwerpen, België.[2] His uncle Franciscus Verhogt and his cousin Carolus Verhogt were his witnesses.
His daughter Maria Thijs was born in 1871.
His son Norbertus Ludovicus Augustinus Thijs was born in 1872.
Occupation
At the time of his marriage he is a "dienstbode", servant.
Later he is "landbouwer", farmer.
Death
He passed away in January 1896 in Bouwel, Antwerpen, België.[3]
