Biography
- Rachel Catherine Thomas was born on November 5, 1864 in Gallatin, Missouri to Isaac Newton and Mariah Rebecca (Flint) Thomas. She married James Halsey Mickelberry in about 1883, probably in Kansas. They were the parents of Virgil Newton (1884-1938), Harley Edward (1887-1901), Lydia (1889-1891), and Nina (1891-1931). They were divorced. She later married Harvey Reynolds. After his death, she married Joseph Pinning on August 26, 1926 in Santa Cruz, California. She died two years later in Santa Cruz, California.
