Biography

When James Burleson "JB" Thomas was born on September 13, 1914, in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi,[1][2][3][4] his father, William, was 32 and his mother, Laura,[5] was 30.[6][7][8] He married Margaret Elizabeth Waller on December 20, 1942, in Union, Mississippi.[9] They had two children during their marriage.

He was a manager in the early 40's at the Knickerbocker Manufacturing Company in West Point, Mississippi.[5][8]

He enlisted in the US Army November 2, 1942. He left the military October 9,1945. He re-enlisted in the US Army June 27, 1946. He left the military again April 1, 1947.[3]

James died on November 11, 1990, in West Point, Mississippi, at the age of 76.[1][3][4]
