Biography
Barzilla Augustus was born in May 1866 in Ontario, Canada West. He was the son of William Thomas and Phoebe Jane Thomas.
In the 1871 census Vacila {sic}, age 10, was in Caradoc, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada.[1]
In 1900 Barzilla married Lilly McIndoo in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada.[2] In the 1911 census B was the married head of household in Dauphin Sub-Districts 16-76, Manitoba, Canada. They had four children and he was working as a laborer.[3]
Barzilla Augustus died at the age of 56 on 20 October 1916 in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada.[4]
