Sarah Elizabeth was the daughter of Caswell Cobb and Elizabeth Ann "Bingham" Thompson. She married William Augustus Womack on January 20, 1859 in Hohenlinden, Webster Co., MS. She was the granddaughter of William and Polly Bingham who migrated to the Hohenlinden area in 1836. She and W.A. Womack were the parents of 11 children. William Augustus served in the Civil War as a Captain in Co. B, 31st Regiment of the MS Volunteers. Sarah Elizabeth and husband, Capt. William Augustus Womack share a headstone marker in the Knights of Honor Cemetery, Blossom, Lamar Co., TX.
