Mrs. Anderson is a daughter of Samuel J. and Isabella A. (Thompson) Saxton, who came to Edgeworth from Washington county, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Saxton died in the latter part of June, 1914. To them were born five children, as follows: Clarence Leland ; Eleanor M., now Mrs. Anderson; Guy B. ; Zetta and John, all of whom are living.

Isabella was born in 1855. She passed away in 1914.
