Ninian Thompson probably son of Daniel R. Thompson, was born on 3 Sep. 1833 in Ohio.[1] He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 29 Aug. 1850 in the home of his father at Washington, Ripley, Indiana.[2]
He married Elizabeth Brown, daughter of Spencer Brown and Nancy (Israel) Brown, on 29 Nov. 1855 at Lee County Iowa.[3]
He was a farmer when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 at Johnson, Scotland, Missouri. Her mother was living with them.[4]
Ninian died on 11 Aug. 1914 at Scotland County, Missouri and was buried at Providence Church Cemetery, Azen, Scotland County, Missouri. [1] His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with Elizabeth.[5]
