Biography
Michael P. Tinkle was born in February 1824 in Gibson, Tennessee, United States.
On 1 June 1850 he was in DeSoto, Mississippi.[1]
He bought 151 acres in section 3 of twp 18 N, range 9 W in the Batesville, Arkansas district on 3 June 1857.[2] He was still single and living with his brother, Robert, in 1860 in Searcy County, Arkansas.[3]
He married Sarah C. Reeves about 1865 and they made their home in Izard County, Arkansas. Their children were George, Emma Charlotte, M. J., Amanda and [4][5] John Henry Tinkle.[6]
Mike was in a record on 28 March 1883 in Harrison, Boone, Arkansas.[7]
Michael was in a pension record in 1891 in Arkansas.[8]
Michael was in a pension record in 1901 in Arkansas.[9] He is buried in Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery near Gid, Arkansas in Izard County.[10]
