Gallus, son of Christian Tischhauser and Katharina Tischhauser, was christened in the Reformed church of current day Sevelen, St. Gallen, Switzerland on 4 May 1679. His godparents were Simon Hagmann, Ulrich Burgäzzi, Trina Saxer and Trina Tischhauser.[1]
Aged 28, he married Elsbeth Hänni in the local Reformed church on 6 November 1707.[2] Together, they had seven daughters and three sons.
Gallus passed away aged 59 and was buried at the Reformed church in Sevelen on 7 January 1739.[3]
