Gallus, son of Hans Tischhauser and Anna Saxer, was christened in the Reformed church of current day Sevelen, St. Gallen, Switzerland on 10 December 1755. His godparents were Lienhard Senn, Christian Hagmann, Anna Engler and Elsbeth Senn.[1]
Aged 34, he married Maria Gabathuler in the Reformed church in Sevelen on 10 February 1789.[2]
