Biography

Charles R. Todd, 83, of Warsaw passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his home. Mr. Todd was born October 9, 1932 in Pitt County to the late Clara Bell Sutton Todd and Daniel Eason Todd, Sr. Mr. Todd was a Mason, served his country in the U. S. Army, and also served his community as a local Law Enforcement Officer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2016, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw with burial to follow in Devotional Gardens

Mr. Todd is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, a son, 2 daughters, a brother, a sister, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Charles Rei “Butch” Todd, Jr.; granddaughter, Jennifer Millican; brothers, Daniel Eason Todd, Jr., Jack Todd, Johnny Todd and Billy Todd; sisters, Betty Jo Merritt, Clara Jean Danae and Peggy Greer.
