"Personally appeared Eleanor Lampman heretofor the widow and relict of Stephen Lampman (1160) late of Swanton in the State of Vermont, yeoman deceased, now the wife of Richard Martin (E729) of the Township of Stanbridge in the said district, yeoman. Polly Lampman (5777) heretofor the widow and relict of Hugh Donaldson (5778) late of Highgate in the state of Vermont aforsaid yeoman deceased, and now the wife of Peter Asseltine (E490) of Swanton aforesaid yeoman from who she declares and affirms she is legally separated both

as to body and property. William Helmus Lampman (5765) and Michael Lampman (4260) both of Highgate aforesaid, yeoman. Stephen Lampman (4145) of Stanbridge aforsaid yeoman, Eleanor Lampman (E728), the younger, the wife of William Nichols (E728) of Soyan aforsaid Esq. By whose present hereto she is hereby authorized as is also the above named Eleanor Lampman her mother by her husband above named.. " the document makes William Nichols, the husband of Eleanor Lampman the younger, their attorney to sell or rent several pieces of land in Stanbridge.
