Biography
Florence Nellie Tournay was born on 26th June 1921 in the greater Sydney region, New South Wales, Australia. She was the firstborn child of Ambrose Cecil Tournay and Ivy Daphne Slack.
She married Cecil Branz in 1950 at Marrickville, New South Wales.[1] Cecil was a career soldier, having served through the Second World War and would retire from the Army in 1967. Florence and Cecil had two daughters.
Florence passed away on 12th September 1970 in Melbourne, Victoria and her ashes are interred in Springvale Botanical Cemetery.[2][3]
