Biography
Rose was born in 1877.[1] She was the daughter of William Towers and Mary Anne (Newman) Towers.
She married William Summers on 2 December 1896 in Hawera.[2]
They had three children:
- Horace Albert Summers (abt.1899-1970)
- Alexander George Summers (1900-1979)
- Grace Summers (1901-)
William died unexpectedly in 1903.[3]
She married (2nd) Thomas Dee in 1906.[4] They had a daughter: Ivy (1907)
She passed away in 1948 [5] and is buried in Waikumete Cemetery, Auckland.[6]
