Biography
George Lawrence Travis was born in December 1869 in Catawba, North Carolina, United States, son of Peter Travis and Sara Ann Pope.
In the 1880 census George (age 10) was the son of Peter Travis in Clines Township, Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[1]
George (age 20), son of Peter Travis & Sarah Travis, married Ina Moser (age 19) on 10 August 1890 in Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[2]
He died before 1900, when his wife showed up as widowed. [3]
