Biography

Samuel was born in 1760. He married first Sarah Nettleton in 1787. They had two children:

  1. Sarah Treat (b-1788) married Nettleton
  2. Mary Treat (b-1790) married Bryan

Sarah died in 1793. Samuel married second Clarissa Wetmore in 1794. They had eight children:

  1. Samuel Treat Jr (b-1795)
  2. Orrin Treat (b-1797)
  3. Orriel Treat (b-1797) married Combs
  4. Clarissa Treat (b-1800) married Bryan
  5. Calvin Treat (b-1803)
  6. Erastus S Treat (b-1805)
  7. Almira Treat (b-1807) married Woodruff
  8. Esther F Treat (b-1810) married Grant

He passed away in 1813.
