His wife Johanna Catharina passed away in 1831, leaving Johannes a widower.[3]
On 29 May 1834 he married Anna Henrica Landtvoogt. The marriage took place Bergen op Zoom.[4] The couple had no children.
At the time of his first marriage Johannes was a weaver.[2] Later he worked as a laborer.[5] He passed away on 13 July 1853 in Bergen op Zoom at the age of 52.[5]
Research Notes
Johannes was baptized on 23 May 1801.[1] In these times children were baptized as soon after birth as possible, to prevent that the child would die unbaptized (and could not go to heaven). Hence Johannes would have been born on 23 May 1801 or in the days before.
The following name variants are used for Johannes:
Ioannes Trip on his baptism registration (Latin)[1]
Joannes Trip on both his marriage certificates and his death certificate (Dutch).[2][4][5]
Johannes Trip on the birth certificates of his children and the death certificate of his first wife Johanna Cornelia (Dutch).[6][3]
