Biography
Emily was born in Napier on the 17th March 1878.[1] She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Williams
She marred Andrew Cairns on the 19th February 1895.[2] They had at least 7 children.
She passed away in Le Bons Bay on Thursday, 9th February 1911.[3] She is buried in Le Bons Bay Cemetery, Christchurch.[4] A FATAL FALL - Emily Cairns, the wife of Andrew- Cairns, of Le Bons Bay, died in the Akaroa Hospital yesterday, as the result of a fall from a horse received when riding home from Akaroa last Thursday. - 'PRESS' Volume LXVII Issue 13964 10 February 1911 Page 8
