Biography

Bertha was born 30 Jul 1868 in Stockport, South Australia, the daughter of the Rev. Henry Lewer Tuck and Harriet Caroline Hodson.

Bertha was a Missionary in India for 39 years. She returned to Adelaide in 1930.^[1]

She died 5 September 1933. Her death notice in the News, reads: TUCK - On September 5, at a private hospital, Bertha Starkey, sixth daughter of the late Rev. H.L. Tuck (40 years Baptist Missionary in India, aged 65 years.^[2] She was buried at Payneham Cemetery.^[3]
