RELIGIOUS NOTES.
Mr. Samuel Tuckwell, who for many
years has been the leader of the Y.M.C.A.
lunch, hour prayer meeting, has been laid
aside, through illness. The meetings were
not held for a fortnight on account of the
visit of the Special Service Squadron necessitating the use of every room in the
Y.M.C.A.. The meeting, which is said
to have been in continual daily session for
nearly 40 years, largely relies upon the
services of its present leader, whose Bible
expositions have been much appreciated.
The members will be glad to welcome Mr.
Tuckwell back next Monday after his enforced absence.
He passed away in 1924.[24]
24 Swift avenue, Dulwich.[25]
