In the 1901 Census (Joseph ) Samuel Tuckwood was 18 years of age and was boarding with William Turk in Hasland,Derbyshire,England and working as a Railway Porter.

Joseph Tuckwood Immigrated to Halifax Nova Scotia,Canada in 1913 at the age of 55 with his son Edward Harold Tuckwood age 26. on the ship "Dominion "
