Biography

Burial: Prospect Hill Cemetery, Valatie, Columbia County, New York

Civil War: Private, Company I, 2nd Regiment, Vilenu Cavalry of New York.

He was with the "Flying Column" which moved eastward from Louisiana into Mississippi in their attempt to cut off supply lines of the southern forces. Every stream was a raging torrent and the mud so deep they could scarcely move.[1]
