Biography

William Tutt was born in Sherington on 5 February 1832, and baptised in the Wesleyan circuit of Newport Pagnell the following day. he was the son of John Tutt and Jane Ash ^[1]

He married Elizabeth Smiles (nee Greer) in Marylebone on 1 April 1862 at Holy Trinity, Marylebone Road Westminster. William was shown as an engine driver and the son of John Tutt, deceased, cordwainer; Elizabeth was shown as a widow, and the daughter of Thomas Greer, deceased, a gardener. ^{[2] [3]}

William passed away on 17 November 1910 in South Weald, Essex. ^[4]
