Biography

Bessie was born about 1890 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan, United States. She was the daughter of William Ulch and Jennie Brown.^[1] She had four siblings. Sadly, her mother passed away in 1898 (aged 29–30).

In the 1900 census Bessie (age 10) was the niece of Eugene and Ada Van Worner in Vernon, Vernon Township, Shiawassee, Michigan Territory, United States.^[2]

In the 1910 census Bessie (age 18) was the single lodger of Fred Brown in Vernon, Shiawassee, Michigan, United States.^[3]

Bessie (age 22y), daughter of William Ulch & Jennie Brown, married Glenn A. Bozard (age 28y) on 30 September 1913 in Vernon, Shiawassee, Michigan.^[4] Sadly, he passed away of Pneumonia (age 40) in February 1925 in Durand. They had one son; Gaylord A. Bozard (1919-2017).

Bessie (age 35), daughter of Wm Ulch & Jennie Brown, married divorcee Frank Beebe (age 37) on 14 August 1928 in Lucas, Ohio, United States.^[5] He was a locomotive crane engineer.

In the 1930 census Bessie (age 36) was the wife of Frank E Beebe in Lincoln Park, Wayne, Michigan, United States. Also living with them was her son Gaylord (age 10).^[6]

In the 1940 census Bessie (age 49) was the wife of Frank Beebe in Van Buren Township, Wayne, Michigan, United States.^[7]

In the 1950 census Bessie (age 58), Construction Eng, was the wife of Frank Beebe in Van Buren Township, Wayne, Michigan, United States.^[8] Her husband Frank passed away in 1968 in California.

She passed away (aged 96–97) in 1987 in Los Angeles. Her last place of residence was San Bernardino, California, United States. ^[1][9] Bessie was mentioned on a memorial in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside, Riverside County, California, United States with a death date of 1987.^[10]
