Biography
Jane was born about 1793, most likely in Maryland. She married Robert Vincent, likely in Maryland or Pennsylvania, before 1830. In 1850, the family was located in German Township, Holmes County, Ohio, with the household consisting of Robert (50, VA), Jane (50, MD), and three children—Martha (19, PA), Robert (15, OH), and John (12, OH). They were sharing a home with Alex Vincent (35, OH) and his family (rumored to be Robert's brother, not his son), and Robert did not report any real estate values.[1]
She passed away about 1861 and is buried at Mount Latham Cemetery in Pike County, Ohio.[2]
