Maria Magdalena was born after the 1798 census and married before the 1834 census. This means she was not captured in a census with her biological parents. Unless we find a descendant who has detailed private records, we will probably never know her last name at birth.

Studying the maternal haplogroup of Maria Magdalena's female descendants could help narrow down her maternal ancestry.

Maria Magdalena is not named in the 1857 census with her husband and children. Since divorce was rare in Volga German villages, she most likely died between 1847, when her last documented child was born, and 1857, when the census was taken. I am including a copy of the family's entry in the 1857 census to show her connection to her children. None of her children still living at home were married nor did she have any grandchildren.
