Catharina nee Unknown was born about 1778 in Volga, Russia. She was married to "Unknown" Grünewald (possibly from Frank).
By 1811, her son Johannes is listed as step-son to Andreas Hartung in Frank colony.[1] In 1798 Andreas Hartung is in HH 36 married to Elisabeth Asmus from Walter, 25. So it seems Elisabeth Asmus died, and Andreas Hartung marries a widow of unknown Grünewald - Catharina. Andreas must have died soon after and she re-marries to Johannes Suppes in Walter.[2]
