Biography
Eli Upton, son of Joseph Upton and Mary (See) Upton, was born on 25 October 1804 in Kentucky.[1]
He married Sarah M. "Sally" White on 21 August 1827 in Warren County, Kentucky. [1]
He was a farmer when he and Sarah appeared on the census of 24 October 1850 at Warren, Marion County, Missouri.[2]
He married Mrs. Caroline H. (McCullough) Mitchell on 3 February 1875 in Marion County, Missouri.[1]
Eli died on 7 August 1881 in Warren Township, Marion County, Missouri and was buried at Warren Cemetery, Warren, Marion County, Missouri. His memorial has a copy of his obituary and links to those of family members.[1]
