1917 When Walter registered for the US WWI draft in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, USA, he was 22 years old and single. He worked in Two Rivers, Wisconsin as a laborer.[1]
1920 Walter remained with his father and mother in Two Rivers, Wisconsin in 1920. Walter's grandmother had joined the family. Both Walter and his father were factory workers.
1930 - 1942 Walter, still single and now farming on his own,[4] but living near his family, registered for the US WWII draft in 1942.[5]
1973 Walter A. Vaclavik died 4 Oct 1973 in Jackson, Jackson, Michigan USA. He was 78 years old.[6] He was buried in Pioneer's Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers, Wisconsin, USA.
OBITUARY
Walter Vaclavik, 78, of Jackson, Mich., died Thursday at Jackson. Funeral services were at 3 o'clock this Saturday afternoon at Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, Jackson, with cremation following. Mr. Vaclavik was born June 13, 1895, son of the late Joseph and Mary Vaclavik. He was a retired Manitowoc County farmer, residing at Jackson the past three years. He was a member of the Two Rivers Eagles Club. Survivors include a brother, Frank, of Jackson, with whom he made his home, and nieces and nephews. Three brothers preceded him in death.[7][8]
