Biography
Jonkvrouw Angelica Adelaidis Ludovica Carolina, baronesse van Brienen, born 15 January 1832 in Amsterdam, was the daughter of Arnold Willem van Brienen, baron van Brienen van de Grootelindt, chamberlain to the King (kamerheer des Konings), and of Carolina Francisca Josephina, gravinne van Brouckhoven van Bergeijck[1]. She married Simon Gérard d'Alsace, count of Alsace, prince of Hénin, on 27 October 1852 in Amsterdam [2].
Angélique Adélaïde Louise Caroline de Brienen (sic), widow of Simon Gérard, comte d'Alsace, prince d'Hénin, died on 9 April 1921, at home, 20 rue Washington in the 8th arrondissement of Paris[3].
