Henri Louis Vandermeerschen was born on 30 September 1866 in Brussels. His father was Louis Vandermeerschen and his mother was Thérèse Parent, both born in Brussels.^[1]

Henry Van Dermeerschen's marriage to Annetta Sophia M Laubach was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1893 in the Lambeth district.^[2]
