Alice was the daughter of Paul Oscar and Lourena Burgess (Wilson) Veit. She was born on 24 Sep 1928 in Gordon Heights, New Castle, Delaware.

Alice married Wilbur Norman Marsh on 28 Jan 1955 in Bible Presbyterian Church-Newark, Delaware.

Ceremony Will Take Place Jan. 28 In Newark Church

NEWARK, Del., Jan. 19 Miss Alice V. Veit, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul O. Veit of Newark, will become the bride of Mr. Wilbur N. Marsh, son of Mrs. A. Verna Marsh and the late Mr. A. Norman Marsh of Parkesburg, Pa., at 7:30 p. m., Friday evening, Jan. 28, in the Bible Presbyterian Church, Newark.

Miss R. Naomi Veit, sister of the bride, will be maid of honor and only attendant.

Mr. James L. Marsh will be best man for his brother. Ushers will be Mr. Robert T. Van Ness and Mr. Earl Gray.

Mrs. H. Lloyd Yarnall will be organist, and Mrs. James Marsh will be the soloist.

A reception or the immediate families will follow the ceremony at the College Inn, Newark.

Miss Veit is a graduate of Newark High School and is now with the personnel division of the Dupont Company.

Mr. Marsh, a graduate of Scott High School, Coatesville, and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N. Y., has just returned from two years' service in the Army, and is employed in the Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville.

Alice died on 06 Jan 2004 in Parkesburg, Chester, Pennsylvania. She was buried in Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
