10 febrero 1822: En la iglesia parroquial de Tepatitlán…yo el cura propio doctor don Manuel Moreno…casé y velé in facie ecclesiae a Urbano Vera, español africano, de Mirandilla jurisdicción de Jalostotitlán, hijo legítimo de Pedro Vera y de María Antonia Gutiérrez, vivos, de veinte años con Juana María de Orta, española, originaria de Cerro Gordo, hija legítima de José Luis de Orta y de María Alvina Casillas, vivos, de dieciséis años…siendo padrinos José Rafael Vera y María Alcalá, testigos José Manuel Rodríguez y Santiago Rodríguez[1]
