HOEFNAGEL, Susanna (born Antwerp 28-10-1561 – died The Hague 16-5-1633), mother of Constantijn Huygens sr. Daughter of Jacob Hoefnagel (died before 1585), merchant, and Elisabeth Veselaer. Susanna Hoefnagel married Christiaan Huygens(1551-1624), secretary of the Council of State, on 26-8-1592 in Amsterdam.
