Biography
Mary Marie Vestal was born in Indiana in 1899. She was the daughter of William Vestal and Sarah Hall.
Mary Vestal married John Bennett Murdy at Vigo County, Indiana on October 17, 1914.[1] [2] He was a son of Charles B. Murdy and Dora Clarke. Mary Vestal and John Murdy had one known child, a daughter, Nellie Murdy born in 1915. Mary Vestal and John Murdy divorced before 1922. John Murdy later married one of Mary Vestal's older sisters, Nellie May Vestal in 1927.
Mary Vestal married Willard Corbett Shannon at Terre Haute, IN on December 02, 1922. [3] He was a son of Oliver Perry Shannon and Martha Ann Barton. Mary Vestal and Willard Shannon had three children, a son and two daughters. Willard Shannon died at Indianapolis, IN on Dec. 24, 1956.
Mary Vestal married Clyde Ludlow in Indiana about 1962. He was a son of Joseph L. Ludlow and Sarah Nose.
Mary Vestal passed away at Indianapolis, IN on April 12, 1984 and she was buried there at Memorial Park Cemetery. [4] She was 85 or 86 years old. Her Findagrave birth year does not agree with other sources.
