Georg Baron von Stackelberg was born in April, 1786, and died on March 1, 1844.
He served in the Imperial Russian Army, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and receiving in 1812 the Order of St. George, 4th Class.
After the end of the Napoleonic War, he retired and served for some time as an judge, but was forced to resign in 1817.
