Second Marriage

John, a widow, married his second wife Pacyene (Patience) Lewyn (married name), also a widow, on 18 June 1622 in St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Goudhurst, Kent, England^[3][4]

Note

Surname Spelling: On marriage entry in FindMyPast, he is listed as John Vousden, however in other records it appears that his surname may have been spelt Vowsden or Vouseden all close phonetic spellings. His name is also Vowsden on the birth record of his son, John.

Research Notes

There were no obvious birth records for John & Sarah. After researching all the parish records for the parishes of Goudhurst, Staplehurst, Brenchley, Horsmonden and Cranbrook, the birth records for their children only showed John's name as father so research was done looking at time frame, location and birth details - father's name only.
