Biography

Emma Wagner [1] [2] was born on February 15, 1884 in Illinois. [1][2]

According to Find-A-Grave [2], her parents were Fred Otto Rudolph Wagner (1847–1897) and Susan Sippel Wagner (1850–1934), but this has not been verified.

Emma married Frederick Emig about 1915, probably in St. Clair County, Illinois. [1] exact date and place unknown
Together they had 2 known children:

  1. Armin Emig
  2. Marjorie Emig
  • Considering the 6-year gap in ages of the two children, it is very possible that there were other children as well, that we do not know about yet

Emma was enumerated as the spouse of Robert Emig in the census on 1 April 1930 in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois as Emma Emig, wife, age 44, married at age 30, born IL, father born GER, mother born WV [1]

Emma died at the age of 77 on March 9, 1961. [2] place unknown
She was buried in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois. [2]
