William Henry Norman was born in 1892. He passed away in 1960. [1]

Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
William served the Royal Highland Fusiliers during WW1 untill he was wounded in (Ypres). He was later reassigned to the detail of Labour Corps (129/LC). He recieved a medal for his contribution and demobbed after 1919.

He worked as a shipyard stager in the Glasgow shipyards with his brother Colin.

(Colin worked the rigging cranes above the staging support 'wood' built by William)

He owned property in thistle street (132/134) and retired as a post sorting clerk. William was Gaelic and the author of the letter send to bernardos. 'The boys love pudding'. This put simply was due to severe ill health. And continued failed support from the Green Family.

Whom offered no support or contact for either of the boys when David Green (1925) left.
