Biography

The daughter of Thomas Walters and his first wife, Mary (Miller) Potter, Marjorie Walters was born in Detroit, Michigan^{[citation needed]} in 1927, residing there with her family.^[1] Her parents divorced and in 1940, Marjorie lived in Detroit with her mother and her stepfather.^[2]

Marjorie married George Emerson Whipple (1925-2014), the son of Norman Ellsworth Whipple and Mildred Elizabeth Wint, marrying in Angola, Indiana on October 18, 1946,^[3] making their home in 1950 in Wayne, Michigan, later residing in Garden City and in Howell, Michigan.^{[citation needed]} Marjorie Whipple passed away in Livonia, Michigan^{[citation needed]} at the age of 86^[4] and is buried at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan.^[5]
