Henry Wardlaw was born in Scotland.

Henry was possibly born around 1285, based upon his daughter Christian's estimated birthdate of circa 1306 (see Christian) for an explanation.

Henry married Mary Stewart, a daughter of Sir James Stewart of Durrisdeer, and niece of Walter, the High Steward.^[1] They likely had the following children:^[2]
