James was born about 1825 in Farnham. He is the son of James Warner and Sarah Saunder. James married Eliza Slingo in 1848, and they had a daughter, Eliza. He worked as an agricultural and general labourer. James died in 1861. His burial date was 9 September 1861 at Farnham, St Andrew, Surrey,
