Mildred Alice Washbrooke was born on April 5, 1904 in Sandwich South Township, Essex, Ontario, Canada, daughter of William Washbrooke (~1872–1941) and Mary Elizabeth Moore (1874–1915).^[1]

Mildred married Raymond David Robinson (born on October 6, 1902 in Sandwich South Township; son of David Robinson and Rhoda (Libby) Robinson).^[2] Their children were:

• Wesley William Robinson (1921–1973)
• Avis Mary Robinson (1922–2019)

Mildred died about 1981 in Windsor, Essex, aged 76.

Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Alice Robinson (nee Washbrooke), 75 years of age, of R.R. 3, Maidstone, passed away at home on Friday of last week. She was a lifelong resident of Sandwich South Twp. Her husband, Raymond David, predeceased her in 1974. She is survived by two daughters, Avis (Mrs. Jim Weston) of Sandwich South, Deanna (Mrs. Malcolm MacRae), of Alvinston; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister of Mrs. Harvey Washbrook, of Sandwich South, Mrs. Esther Hornick and Mrs. Gertrude Ferris, both of Windsor. Funeral Services were held from the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home on Wednesday, at 1 p.m. Rev. Herman Whiting officiated. Interment was in Fairbairn Cemetery.
