WEDDINGS.
St. Mary's Church, Redcliffe, was crowded for the wedding of Mr. Walter Waterton, of Clontarf, and Miss Elizabeth Weston (eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Weston, Queen's Beach), which was solemnised on August 30 by the Rev. A. W. King. The bride, who was given away by her father, was frocked in white satin with lace veil, and carried a bouquet of arum lilies. The bridesmaid (Miss Florence Weston, sister of the bride) wore green satin, and carried a bouquet of pink camelias. The church was decorated with white lilies and white camelias. Mr. James Strathearn acted as groomsman. Miss Edna Hillier presided at the organ. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, Mrs. Weston receiving her guests frocked in blue crepe de Chine, with a blue hat to match.
