Biography

James was born in 1821. He was the son of David Watson and Jean Greenlees. ^[1][2]

He married Mary McMurchy in 1844. ^[3]

They had the following children:

1. Jane (Carmichael) 1845–1910
2. Alexander Watson 1846–1900
3. James Watson 1848-1887
4. Flora (Matheson) 1850-1906 Australia
5. Mary Watson 1852-1859
6. Catherine (McMillan) 1854-1884
7. Malcolm Watson 1856-1857

Mary died in May of 1863.

In December that year James married Margaret Armour. ^[4]
