Matilda was born in 1905, the daughter of William Watts and Esther Lane.[1]
She had a twin sister Ethel Watts.
She married George Douglas in 1926.[2] This was a double wedding shared with her twin sister Ethel. WEDDINGS. NEW ZEALAND HERALD, VOLUME LXIII, ISSUE 19348, 8 JUNE 1926, PAGE 5[3]
She passed away in 1985[4] and ashes were interred in Hamilton Park Cemetery, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.[5]
