William McCrocker Wylie or Waylie was born about 1897 in Streetsville, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of John Wylie and Janet Glassford.
William Mccrocker Wylie (age 24, bachelor, banker), son of John Wylie & Janet Glassford, married Florence Edna Hill (age 24, spinster) on 28 May 1921 in Ottawa, Ontario, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of William Hill and Martha Elizabeth Morphy. William had been residing in Toronto, and was of Presbyterian faith. Florence had been living in Ottawa and was of Methodist faith. Witnesses were: John H Wylie of Streetsville, Ontario and Mary E Hill of Ottawa, Ontario. The clergy man was R. J. M. Glassford of Winchester, Ontario (Presbyterian).[1]
